On Sunday I went up the Tram to the top of Hong Kong Island. The tram began operation over a hundred years ago. Its very pretty and once you escape the touristy stuff at the top of the lift there are some nice trails and walking areas.

This post reminds me of when Gary and I went to China in 2006; we also took an afternoon to ride the tram up - what an experience! It appears that you had a more clear day to enjoy the view of the harbor, our pictures are pretty hazy but made for a spectacular sunset!
